Separation drum with central adjustment Type PZ 257 B – the best-seller among the MTF separation drums. Because of the seconds-fast adjustment, this separation system is universally applicable and displays its strengths above all with frequent product changes.
The separation drum Type PZ with central adjustment is the fastest, easiest, and most precisely adjustable separation system in the MTF separation program. This separation system has no competition in its possible uses. Through the patented central adjustment, the distance between all of the rollers in the cage can be newly adjusted with one handle and centrally locked. The separation is infinitely adjustable from 3 to 53 mm.

Separation Drums

Separation Drums serve the spatial separation of pieces of different sizes – especially the separation of injection-moulded pieces from sprues in plastic finishing or in the die-casting industry. Depending on the task, various devices and diameters are available to achieve an ideal separation result. Separation Drums can be used directly behind the production machine for inline separation.
Because of your large throughput, however, they are often used in combination with a feed belt as central separation stations. Thus pieces from different production machines are separated in batches.
