Hinged plate belts are not useful only with high temperatures or sharp-edged items. In the plastics industry, partial products are produced that contain specific plasticizers – so-called phthalates. These phthalates attack normal plastic belts with polyurethane or PVC surfaces and make them brittle. The steel hinged plates are impervious to phthalates and offer a durable solution.

Steel Hinged Plate Conveyors with negative angle
The angled conveyors with steel hinged plates are essential for transporting hot materials out of machine shafts, as this often happens, for example, in the die casting industry. Likewise they serve to transport strongly lubricant-containing pieces and chips that occur during machining. The entire configuration, from length and width to the surface of the plates, is laid out to order by MTF Technik. Fixed angles of 30°, 45°, 60° and 75° are offered as standard.
